Treatment: Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) / Knee, Elbow, and Ankle
Elston Green, a law enforcement professional, first sought out Regenerative treatment in April 2009, at the suggestion of another physician. Elston had contracted Lyme disease. The condition caused joint damage, inflammation, and pain in his knee, elbow, and ankle.
The Lyme disease also prevented Elston from receiving steroid injections that could provide some pain relief. Familiar with providing alternative pain solutions to patients with Lyme disease, the physician suggested a treatment plan of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) to treat his increasing pain levels. After a series of three PRP sessions, Elston noticed a significant improvement. He experienced far less pain and greater mobility in the affected areas.
Elston was impressed by the care he received. “When I first met him, the doctor made no promises about my recovery, but he promised to try his hardest to make me better.”
As Elston continued to improve, he noticed the physician’s excitement. “The look of joy on my doctor’s face matched mine. The passion he has for his life’s work and the pride he displayed as he saw me getting better was exciting.”
Elston has turned a corner on his road to recovery and is a firm believer in both the art and science of the Regenerative therapies offered at StemCell ARTS.
