Program Director

Marisa joined the practice in 2012. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, she graduated from Miami University with a degree in Exercise Science and earned her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration.  A past dancer and athlete, Marisa understands the impact of sports injuries.  She is thrilled to be part of a practice that can offer non-surgical solutions to pain.

 

Saghi Saeidi

Center Manager – Tyson’s Corner

Joining the practice in 2018, Saghi has always had an interest in the medical field. Saghi graduated from Stratford with a degree in Business Administration. Saghi enjoys cooking Persian food and making juice using organic vegetables grown in her own garden.

Center Manager – Chevy Chase

Selam was born and raised in Ethiopia. She joined National Spine and Pain Centers in 2013, transferring to the StemCell ARTS team in 2017. Salem is currently enrolled in UMUC to finish her Bachelor Degree in Health Service Management and Information System. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and getting involved in her church activities. Selam has a passion for décor, with future plans to own a party décor business.

 

Neway Guade

Phlebotomist / Lab Technician – Tyson’s Corner

Neway joined the practice in 2018. He is originally from Ethiopia. Neway graduated from Addis Ababa University and Montgomery College studying Biology, Biotechnology, and Physiology. He loves spending time with his family and friends. In his free time, Neway enjoys biking and hiking mile long trails.

 

Heather Favara

Phlebotomist / Lab Technician – Tyson’s Corner

Heather joined the StemCell ARTS team in 2019.  She has always had an interest in medicine, working in the field as an MA since 2006. She enjoys seeing patients recover and return to their previously active lifestyles and is thrilled to be involved in nonsurgical treatment options. In her free time, she enjoys long distance running and has completed numerous half and full marathons. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and son and their two dogs.

Phlebotomist / Lab Technician – Chevy Chase

Barry joined StemCell ARTS in 2017.  He graduated in 2016 with a degree in Biology from George Mason University.  Being involved with club sports throughout college and high school, Barry is familiar with injuries and how they can impact day to day activities.  A part from the medical field, Barry performs with a band and has played shows throughout the east coast.  His favorite food is mac and cheese.

Medical Assistant – Tyson’s Corner

Connie joined the practice in 2010. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know the patients and sharing their journey back to health.  Connie enjoys being a part of StemCell ARTS and the opportunity to provide treatments to patients who have previously been told to live with their pain.

 

Nicole Eliste

Patient Service Coordinator – Tyson’s Corner

Nicole joined the practice in 2019. She is currently working towards her undergraduate degree in Health Serices Management at UMUC. Nicole was born and raised in Northern Virginia, but spent the last several years in Alaska. There she learned how to mush dogs, shoveled a lot of snow, and gained experience working at a Regenexx affiliated clinic. Now that she is back in her hometown, she’s excited to continue working in the field of Regenerative Medicine at Stem Cell Arts. When she isn’t working, Nicole enjoys hiking with her dog, and discussing Seinfeld re-runs with her husband.

 

Janae Thompson

Patient Service Coordinator – Tyson’s Corner

Janae joined the practice in 2019. Janae graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2017 with her Bachelor’s in Biology and is currently working on her Master’s in Healthcare Administration at UMUC. After experiencing a sport related injury to her ACL and meniscus, Janae took an interest in the healthcare field. She enjoys working with patients and making sure their healthcare needs are met. In her spare time, Janae enjoys traveling and relaxing at home.

 

Danielle Malik

Patient Service Coordinator – Chevy Chase

Danielle joined StemCell ARTS in September 2019. She attended Howard University and graduated with her BA in Science (Biology) in 2005. Danielle also attended the Howard University Dental Hygiene School and graduated in 2006 as a Registered Dental hygienist. Danielle left the dental field to pursue other options in the medical field. She loves to spend time with her children, family and friends.
